When I was vegetarian, I used to eat a lot of this for my source of protein. Now that I am back to meat eater, I still eat this as carbs substitute (I eat this for breakfast instead of porridge). I like that mung beans give lasting satiety.

In English it's called free-range eggs. If you have to eat eggs, eat these kind. They have less of the bad stuff (cholesterol, saturated fats), more of the good stuff (Omega 3, vitamin A and E) compared to eggs from caged hens.
Sweet Potatoes and Cassava
Purple sweet potato contains the most antioxidant anthocyanins while the orange one contains lots of beta-carotene.
I'm surprised that cassava contains TWICE the calories compared to potatoes. Won't eat prior to photo shoot! Contains beneficial trace minerals such calcium, manganese, phosphorus.
Stewed Chicken & Apple Soup
It is not common for Indonesian to add apples to their chicken soup but it is quite well-known for Chinese recipe. I'm in love with this soup and it's definitely very healthy. This is so yummy and it has to be my favourite dish ever!!
I love eating fresh ingredients that's why homemade is the best. I think the secret is using good amount of cilantro. And salt binds the whole flavour together.
